We would have been happy enough to sit by the water hole at Camp and watch the animals there. But we were yet to be amazed by the Game Drives. We did 2 at Sweetwaters. One was a nighttime drive which gave us the most awesome lion encounter in human history. We were driving along a dirt road and came around a bend when we saw a adult male lion stretching on a tree! He was big, he was close, and he looked like a ghost.
Unfortunately, we were not able to do any other night drives since the rest of our days were spent in public preserves (Sweetwaters is private) and driving after dark is prohibited.
